Adamson Limited Warranty

Adamson Systems Engineering extends a workmanship warranty on all proprietary drivers for a period of five years from the date of initial purchase by the consumer. Cabinetry enclosures are covered by warranty for a period of one year from the date of initial consumer purchase. Warranty registration is automatically filed at the time of purchase.

Adamson’s warranty protects the original owner and is transferable to subsequent owners during the product’s warranty coverage period, provided that: a.) Your product was purchased directly through Adamson Systems Engineering headquarters in Port Perry, Ontario, Canada; and b.) The original dated purchase receipt is presented when warranty service is requested. If your product was purchased elsewhere, please contact your local Adamson distributor for warranty details.

To obtain warranty service:

Adamson will cover the cost of material and labor for all repairs covered under this warranty.

Should your Adamson product require service, write or telephone us at Adamson Systems Engineering, 1401 Scugog Line 6, Port Perry, Ontario L9L 1B2 (905-982-0520). We may request that you ship the damaged unit to our factory for diagnosis and/or repair, or direct you to our Adamson Service Center in Hamburg, Germany. Be prepared to present the original purchase invoice as proof of warranty coverage. Do not send your product to the factory or service center without first obtaining a Return Authorization (RA) number and a request from our head office. To obtain an RA number provide applicable serial numbers to orchid@adamsonproaudio.com Any shipment made to the Adamson factory or Adamson Service Center should be labelled with the corresponding RA number.

You are responsible for transporting your product for repair and payment of any initial shipping charges. However, Adamson will cover the return shipping charges when repairs are approved for coverage under warranty or new warrantied parts are shipped under replacement claims.

What is not Covered:

Your Adamson warranty covers any material and workmanship defects, with the following exclusions:
• Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, misuse, abuse or negligence.
• Damage occurring during any shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier).
• System is powered with an Amplifier configuration that does not meet factory specifications
• System is processed with presets that were not factory issued
• Damage resulting from repair or attempted repair by anyone other than Adamson or an authorized Adamson service agent.
• Any Adamson product which has been modified or on which the serial number or cabinet has been altered, defaced or removed.
• Consequential, economic or property damage.
• Claims based upon any misrepresentation by the seller.

For warranty inquires about second party products such as XTA, Lab.gruppen and Dolby Lake please contact the respective manufacturers.

Limitation of Implied Warranties:

Any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the length of this express warranty.

Exclusion of Damages:

Adamson’s liability is limited to the repair and replacement, at our option, of any defective product. Adamson shall not be liable for incidental or consequential loss or damages of any kind. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty in no way affects your statutory rights. Please read the Adamson Limited Warranty Guidelines above before proceeding to filling out the Warranty claim form. Do not ship any parts without contacting the Adamson head office first. Warranty claims will not be processed without a Return Authorization (RA) number.
