B 118 The Adamson B118 is a front-loaded bass enclosure featuring a Kevlar 18" low frequency driver mounted in a critically damped, vented enclosure. The AW18 driver employed in the B118 is the world's first woven Kevlar diaphragm 18" driver. With its extremely high stiffness to mass ratio, Kevlar virtually eliminates the effects of cone fatigue while providing enhanced long term reliability. Cabinet construction of the B118 is uncompromised throughout, utilizing well-reinforced 5/8" Baltic birch, thus remaining free of vibration at extreme sound pressure levels.
