Palais Des Festival
After evaluating three other leading
line arrays, the Palais des Festival in Cannes (France), has
taken delivery and installed twenty-eight Adamson Y10, plus
the Adamson Y10 Sub for their main stage. The theatre is home
to the Cannes Film Festival and a variety of other major French
productions. A committee of audio consultants and engineers
held the evaluation at the theatre in late December through
early January. The decision was unanimous and the system made
its debut at the Midem awards (sort of like the Grammy's for
France) in mid January. The system was designed with the Adamson
Yaxis shooter software provided by DV2 ® Adamson Europe. –This
cabinet is not like other compact cabinets on the market. It's
a 3-way compact that can keep up with any of its full sized
competitors.” said system designer Didier Dal Fitto. DV2 also
installed Lab Gruppen amplifiers with XTA electronics.
