Adamson Shooter 2.7.0 Adds Metrix SERIES
April 25, 2008
As promised, Adamson Systems Engineering’s line array modeling and configuration software has received another upgrade. Adamson Shooter, unlike other “line array calculators”, offers 2D Vertical and Horizontal views with 3D SPL calculation, making it fast and easy to edit venue geometries and add multiple levels to a design.
Version 2.7.0 introduces the Metrix Series to the Shooter program. Adamson’s European R&D department’s software Pascal Guillaume seamlessly implemented the Metrix (M8-N), Metrix W (M8-W) and Metrix Sub (M SUB) into the new version of the program.
The new version also adds support for 2-motor rigging from both sides of the rigging frame, instead of front and back option only. The mechanical plot now includes more detailed information, showing the box angles in side view from the top of the very first enclosure to the bottom of the last enclosure, thus demonstrating the total vertical coverage of the array in degrees, adding to the existing box to box coverage details. Additionally, you can now give priority to calculations, which allows the computer to complete the calculation before accepting any further input from the user.
The Shooter® program is available free of charge to everyone using Adamson Y-Axis, Spektrix or Metrix products as part of Adamson’s continuous design support efforts.
