April 5th to April 9th saw Winnipeg’s Pantages Playhouse Theatre being taken over by CBC’s Comedy Festival. The proscenium theatre, built by Alexander Pantages, was originally opened in 1914 as a vaudeville house. The Pantages seats 922 in the orchestra, 467 in the balcony and another 86 in balcony boxes.

Multi-Grammy winner Kanye West was joined by Canadian rocker Sam Roberts at the red-carpet opening of Toronto’s newly renovated Masonic Temple, the venue for MTV Canada’s first live concert. The Masonic Temple located downtown Toronto, was built in 1918 and has undergone several renovations over the years.

Adamson has signed another partner company on in Colombia. Producciones Carlos Vallejo is based in Manizales, a small city about a 5 hour drive Northeast of Bogota and is known as the “University” town of Colombia. 12 Universities and Colleges are based there.

PALM Expo 2006 (formally known as CALM Expo) will bring more than 1200 exhibiting companies with some 130,000 qualified visitors together, over the four days of exhibition. This international exhibition spans over 12 halls in the China International Exhibition Centre (CIEC), between May 31st and June 3rd in Beijing.
