Audio GmbH of Kùln, Germany has added 24 Adamson SpekTrix compact
line array cabinets to their growing inventory of Adamson loudspeaker
products. The system was purchased through DV2 (Adamson Europe)
to support German tour dates of The Rat Pack - Live From Las
Vegas, the popular musical that has been delighting audiences
both in North America and abroad.
The musical revue pays homage
to America's favorite 'bad boy' icons Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis
Jr. and Dean Martin - collectively immortalized as the Rat Pack
- and features a 15-piece big band performing numbers that include
"Fly Me To The Moon" and "That Old Black Magic".
The Rat Pack - Live From Las Vegas opened on April 6th, 2004 at the Alte
Oper Frankfurt, and will follow with dates at the Musical Dome
in Kùln beginning in June, the Musikhalle Grosser Saal in Hamburg;
the National Theater Opernhaus in Mannheim; and the Deutsches
Theater in MÙnchen. The tour will run through November, 2004.
